When you complete the survey, we collect:

• Your business location, sector, size, and years trading
• Your responses to the survey topics you select
• Your name and email address if you choose to provide them for follow-up

Name and contact details are optional. You can complete the survey anonymously.

How we use your information

Your responses are used to:

• Compile quarterly reports submitted to local councils and education authorities
• Produce public summaries of key findings and outcomes
• Contact you about the survey outcomes if you have provided your details and consented

We do not use your information for marketing. We do not sell your data to third parties.

How your data is collected and stored

The survey is operated by NNBN Ltd under the Local Business Voice initiative. We do not use third-party form platforms. Responses are stored securely on our own servers and are accessible only to authorised staff.

How long we keep your data

We keep survey responses for three years from the date of submission, after which they are deleted. If you provided contact details, these are deleted when you withdraw consent or at the end of the three-year period, whichever is sooner.
